These Moorish brass tiles centre on a twelve-point star rosette surrounded by interlaced strapwork, the kind of centrepiece pattern associated with the Alhambra. Laid edge to edge, a set reads as one continuous wall of relief, while a smaller run suits hutch doors or a backsplash.

Sizes and coverage
Choose from the Size and set menu. Figures assume tiles butted together.

- 20 cm, 20 tiles: 0.80 m² (8.6 sq ft), e.g. 5 x 4 tiles = 100 x 80 cm
- 30 cm, 4 tiles: 0.36 m² (3.9 sq ft), e.g. 2 x 2 tiles = 60 x 60 cm
- 30 cm, 6 tiles: 0.54 m² (5.8 sq ft), e.g. 3 x 2 tiles = 90 x 60 cm
- 30 cm, 9 tiles: 0.81 m² (8.7 sq ft), e.g. 3 x 3 tiles = 90 x 90 cm
The tiles cannot be cut, so plan the layout around whole tiles. Three 30 cm tiles across span 90 cm (35.4 in).
Where to use it
- Feature wall in a living room, dining room or entrance hall
- Glued onto wood: cabinet, hutch or armoire doors
- Behind a kitchen range or along the sink wall
- Fireplace surround, chimney breast or overmantel
- A headboard panel or the wall above a bed
Installing and care
Set them like ordinary wall tile: butter the hollow back with tile adhesive, press each tile onto a flat, clean wall, then grout or caulk the joints once it has cured. A single tile can also hang on its own from the hanger on the back. Behind a cooktop, leave the clearance your cooktop maker asks for. Tiles cannot be cut, so work out the layout in whole tiles first. To clean, use a soft, damp cloth, then dry; abrasives and strong cleaners strip the patina.
