Handcrafted Moroccan-Style Wall Sconces

Every sconce in our collection is cut, pierced, and soldered by hand in our workshop. We use solid brass throughout — no hollow castings, no plated steel. The half-cylinder and fan-shaped profiles sit close to the wall, projecting light upward, downward, and outward through the geometric piercings. The effect is warm, layered, and dramatic without being overpowering.
All sconces are hardwired with UL-listed wiring for standard US wall junction boxes. Installation is the same as any regular wall sconce — connect the wires, mount the bracket, attach the fixture. For rooms without existing wiring, an electrician can add a junction box, or ask us about plug-in conversion options. Where to Place Moroccan Sconces
Placement makes all the difference. Here are the essentials:
Bathrooms: Mount flanking a vanity mirror at 64-66 inches from the floor. Space 28-30 inches apart. The brass holds up beautifully in humid environments.
Hallways: Mount at 60 inches (eye level). Space every 8-10 feet for even light distribution. A single sconce at a hallway entrance creates a welcoming focal point.
Bedrooms: Mount 4-6 inches above the headboard on each side. Sconces free up nightstand space and provide better reading light than table lamps.
Stairways: Stagger sconces along the stairwall at consistent height from each step — your electrician can help with the layout. The shadow patterns shift as you climb, creating a dynamic effect.
