Popular for kitchen islands, dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms, and restaurant spaces. Multiple finishes available: polished brass, matte black, antique bronze, and oxidized silver.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Moroccan lamps work with US wiring and light switches?

Yes — every lamp ships pre-wired with standard US wiring (110-120V, E26 socket) and includes all necessary mounting hardware. Installation is the same as any regular light fixture. If you are in Europe, Australia, or the UK, let us know at checkout and we will wire for 220-240V with the appropriate plug or hardwire setup.

Can I use LED bulbs in Moroccan lamps?

Absolutely — LED bulbs are recommended. Use warm-white LEDs (2700K-3000K) for the best shadow effect through the pierced metalwork. Avoid daylight-temperature bulbs (5000K+) as they create a harsh look. Most of our lamps use standard E26 medium-base sockets compatible with any LED bulb available at hardware stores.

How much light do Moroccan lamps provide?

Moroccan lamps provide warm ambient lighting rather than bright task lighting. The pierced metalwork filters and diffuses the light, creating a cozy atmosphere with geometric shadow patterns. For kitchens and workspaces, pair a Moroccan pendant with recessed lighting or under-cabinet lights. For bedrooms and dining rooms, a single Moroccan lamp often provides the perfect mood lighting on its own.

What is the difference between brass, oxidized, and bronze finishes?

Polished brass is bright and gold-toned — it catches light and has a luxurious shine. Antique bronze is darker with warm brown undertones, ideal for rustic or traditional spaces. Oxidized silver has a weathered grey-silver look that pairs well with modern and industrial decor. Matte black is the most contemporary option — it blends with farmhouse, boho, and minimalist interiors. All finishes are applied by hand in our workshop.
