A long view of a Nile village: mud-brick houses under date palms, women walking the bank with loads, a goat beneath a spotted tree, and a procession of ibis and egrets wading the river along the foot of the panel. The colour areas are built up by hand-hatching, which you can see up close.

At this size it becomes the room's main event: a stairwell, a double-height wall, a long dining-room wall or a hotel lobby.
Hanging: the tapestry arrives without a sleeve or rod pocket. The simplest method is hook-and-loop tape sewn along the top edge, with the matching half fixed to a wooden batten on the wall. A clip rail also works, or a tailor can sew on a casing for a rod.
