This Moroccan brass wall panel is built around a central star that opens into bold interlacing strapwork, with stars of eight and ten points locked into one continuous geometric weave. It follows Moorish and Andalusian girih geometry, and each square panel works alone or in twos and fours.

Sizes and coverage
Pick a Size, then a Number of tiles. Each panel is a single square; sets are laid side by side.
- 50 x 50 cm with 1 tile: 0.25 m² (2.7 sq ft), one panel on its own = 50 x 50 cm (19.7 x 19.7 in)
- 50 x 50 cm with 2 tiles: 0.50 m² (5.4 sq ft), 2 across by 1 high = 100 x 50 cm (39.4 x 19.7 in)
- 50 x 50 cm with 4 tiles: 1.00 m² (10.8 sq ft), 2 across by 2 high = 100 x 100 cm (39.4 x 39.4 in)
- 60 x 60 cm with 1 tile: 0.36 m² (3.9 sq ft), one panel on its own = 60 x 60 cm (23.6 x 23.6 in)
- 60 x 60 cm with 2 tiles: 0.72 m² (7.8 sq ft), 2 across by 1 high = 120 x 60 cm (47.2 x 23.6 in)
- 60 x 60 cm with 4 tiles: 1.44 m² (15.5 sq ft), 2 across by 2 high = 120 x 120 cm (47.2 x 47.2 in)
The panels cannot be cut, so plan the wall around whole panels.
Where to use it
- Over a sofa, sideboard or console
- Above a fireplace mantel, or leaned on the mantel shelf
- Over a bed, or in place of a headboard
- The focal point of an entry, hall or stairwell
- A dining room feature wall
Installing and care
Hang the panel from the small hanger on its wooden board, or stand it on a mantel or shelf. As a backsplash, fix the board to a clean, flat wall using construction adhesive, propping the panel while the glue sets. Behind a cooktop, leave the clearance your cooktop maker asks for. The panel cannot be cut, so size the space to the full piece. Clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry it off; scouring pads and harsh cleaners will wear through the patina.
