A tapestry woven for you. Commission a new handwoven Egyptian wool piece in the extra large size, 6–8 ft (72 to 96 in / 180 to 245 cm) on its longest side, in portrait or landscape.
Start from a theme — village life, the Nile, trees and birds, a garden, animals or an idea of your own — and the weaver composes the picture freehand on the loom with no sketch or cartoon, so the result is unique. Or send us an image of your own, such as your house, your garden, a pet, a family scene or a favourite painting: then the image is the weaver's guide, and it is interpreted in wool, with fine detail simplified into the style shown in the photographs rather than copied like a photo. Please send only images you have the right to use.
Please contact us before ordering. Tell us your idea, the size and orientation you need, and the colours you like or the room it will hang in, through our contact page. We reply within two days with a quote for your exact piece; once you approve it, weaving begins.

- Character: small irregularities in edge and weave are part of hand weaving, not faults
A size that becomes the room's main event: a stairwell, a double-height wall, a hotel lobby or a restaurant.
Hanging: the tapestry arrives without a sleeve or rod pocket. The simplest method is hook-and-loop tape sewn along the top edge, with the matching half fixed to a wooden batten on the wall. A clip rail also works, or a tailor can sew on a casing for a rod.
