A low record console in solid beech, fronted by two sliding doors of hand-turned mashrabiya spindles and framed with a carved geometric border. Built for a turntable on top and LPs below: the openwork lets an amplifier breathe and keeps remotes working, while the sliding doors never swing into the room.
Custom made — priced by quote. This console is built to order, so there is no fixed price: $4,500 is the starting price, and we quote your final price from your dimensions and details — length, height and depth, wood, finish, lattice pattern and interior layout. Send us your measurements and we will confirm the exact price and lead time with you before production begins.
How it is made: every spindle and block is turned and fitted by hand, then the cabinet is assembled with traditional joinery. Shown here in raw, sanded beech before finishing, so you can see the wood and the turned detail.
Made to your order:
- Size: any width, height and depth. For 12" records we build the interior at least 35 cm (14") deep.
- Finish: natural oil, honey, walnut or dark stain, or painted.
- Lattice: turned-spindle as shown, or Star, Diagonal, Diamond or carved relief.
- Inside: open, with a shelf, or with vertical dividers for LPs.
The photo is a design visualisation of this piece and the room photo shows an example stained finish; every console is built by hand to your order. Contact us with your size, wood and finish.
