A hand-carved beech side table with mashrabiya latticework worked into all four sides and carved detail across the top. The mashrabiya is an element of traditional Arabic architecture used from the middle ages to the mid-twentieth century; here it is worked at table scale, so light passes through the sides.
- Solid beech, hand-carved throughout
- Turned mashrabiya lattice on every side
- Carved detail across the tabletop
Because the sides are pierced, it reads much lighter in a room than its footprint suggests.
