These brass accent tiles carry a cross of fleurs-de-lis whose arms scroll around a small central star, with leaf sprigs in the corners in the spirit of Spanish Talavera. At 10 cm they make a fine repeat for a niche; at 20 cm they can carry a whole backsplash.

- 20 cm, 20 tiles: 0.80 m² (8.6 sq ft), e.g. 5 x 4 tiles = 100 x 80 cm
The tiles cannot be cut, so plan the layout around whole tiles. A row of ten 10 cm tiles runs 100 cm (39.4 in).
Where to use it
- Lining an arched or recessed wall niche
- A coffee station backsplash
- Behind a kitchen range or along the sink wall
- Glued onto wood: cabinet, hutch or armoire doors
- Above a bathroom basin, as a vanity backsplash
Installing and care
As tile, back-fill each piece with tile adhesive and press it onto a flat, clean wall, then grout or caulk when the adhesive has set. To use one as wall art, hang it from the small hanger on its back. Behind a cooktop, leave the clearance your cooktop maker asks for. Tiles cannot be cut, so work out the layout in whole tiles first. Clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry it off; scouring pads and harsh cleaners will wear through the patina.
