Single Pendant vs Multiple

Round tables: One large pendant (16-20 inch) centered above the table.
Rectangular tables under 6 feet: One pendant, 14-18 inch diameter.
Rectangular tables 6+ feet: Two or three smaller pendants (10-12 inch) spaced evenly along the table length.

Hanging Height

The bottom of the pendant should be 30-36 inches above the table surface. This puts the light close enough to illuminate the table while keeping it above eye level so diners can see each other across the table.

Shape Matters
